BAKWAS , PREDICTABLE, AND AJAY DEVGAN MAKES THE MOVIE SO AVERAGE
Raid is a
thriller which bores you to the core. The story is only manageable because of
Saurabh Sukla(Tauji). The movie doesn’t have one shining moment where it makes you say
“oh dayum this scene” but it does have Saurabh Sukla moments who played Tauji
in the film. The story revolves around a non-corrupt income tax officer played
by Ajay Devgan. Ajay Devgan gets an anonymous tip from an individual to Raid
Taujis house. On first day Ajay Devgan gets nothing and at this moment Saurabh
Sukla shines and his dialogues are praiseworthy. The tension that sweeps around
Devgan is so satisfying. On day 2 Ajay Devgan finds a map of the house and
there is where he hits the bull's eye. He recovers half of the money from the
statue cravings present inside the house. The story now moves on focusing on
unnecessary love life of Devgan. I mean what in the blue hell you would need that
in the middle of the raid. I don’t know what in the world the director was
thinking. Skipping all the yadda yadda and overstretch raid that happened in
the house, let's come to the last scene which is bearable. The last scene
involves a riot scene between Taujis goons and the police force. And after all
this tension and violence Tauji ends up in jail and Devgan gets transferred.
The ending Song is pretty dope to be truthful but the rest of the story is an utter
disaster.
